It sounds very hard to learn indeed >.<, congratulations for learning it (I'm still not sure if it's fine staying up for such long periods of time though >.<).

Distractions can help out a lot to keep a person awake xD. I think I've had times when I was sure I couldn't stay awake for much longer and then found something interesting to read/watch and I ended up staying awake for another hour or so.
