Don't Change Me

Don't ever try to change me
I like the way I am
If you really love me
Let me stay the person I am

Let me have my computer
It help me calm my nerves
If you tell me stay off of her
You aren't the one I deserve

I love the friends I have
They are very kind and sweet
Even if they don't live near
They are the best friends I'll ever meet

If you try to change me
You'll prove your loves a lie
To show me that you love me
Show me you are my guy

Don't tell me I need to get out
For I prefer the good indoors
Let me have my space now
Or I'll boot you out the door

I don't need to try new food
For I already know what I like
Half the stuff never sounds good
So I'll stick with my asian rice

Why should I constantly go out
When there is so much to do at home
No need to go on about
That it is not good at all

Stop taking text so seriously
I'm from the internet yo
If I am upset or angry
I'll surly let you know

I'm not good at emotions
Stop trying to force them to out
I am a loner by nature
Independent and a lazy bout

Don't try to change me
Stop mentioning a dress
If you keep asking me
You'll find yourself in a mess

I do things differently
Then the way that you do
Part of loving me truly
Is accepting all of me too

Let me have my cat ears
My music and anime
Let loose all of your fears
Or they'll scare me away

Stop asking me why
It's just the way I am
It's never going to go bye-bye
Just accept it the best you can

Stop trying to change me
I love you as you are
Let me be the real me
And I'm sure we'll go far

Don't try to change me
I am writing you this poem
Showing you the real me
So don't ever leave me alone
