I haven't been able to get a hold of the book yet but I did enjoy the movie..

Its like Queen of the Damned.. It is a good movie in it's own right.. but did not follow the book at ALL.. >.>

1 Marius didn't 'turn' Lestat
2 Lestat has Blond hair
3 they didn't kill the queen properly

it's still a good movie.. but looks so bad when comparing it to a book.

That and mom doesn't read books so watching the movie then talking about it later is best ono

that movie, like most movies based on books, was an abomination. haha
That book was one of my favorites of the series...(Memnoch The Devil is actually my favorite) but the movie..omggg no thank you.

I liked Blackwood Farm the most x3 and the book "Lestat" xD

but yea the movie was an abomination.. but I saw it before I read the book. It was a good movie before I knew what happened in the book xD

I, surprisingly, liked Interview With the Vampire (the film) but only because I love Kirsten Dunst hah

I only liked that Kirsten Dunst was in it.. Other than that, I dont much care for the movie..

Though I did love that book..so hard.

I still love Memnoch the Devil the best

I'm sad that Anne Rice stopped the series to work on more Religious like books..

you could tell her style changed by adding in Religion into the last few books.

Its kinda why I liked Memnoch..
Im a super-atheist, but I found it interesting how she melded religious stories and her own vampire lore together. I loved that book..

You should def see if you can get it somewhere cheaply, like Amazon.

I wish she woulda kept the religious-ness out of it xD like the earlier books.. Religion was mentioned for 'humans' but vampires never got involved in it too much xD

I need to read the stories on the witches thats a separate series that sometimes collides with the vampire chronicles x3
