Well, Hi. Thought I'd migrate over so the chat in the craft thread doesn't get too off topic, though not sure that is matters all that much.

Hi again Quiet Man. 8'D Glad to see you here and making yourself at home, haha. x3
I don't think it matters too much either but eh. XD At least here it's pretty much impossible to be off topic , since there is no overlying topic. XD What type of tea do you normally like? O:

Black Assam tea, for the most part. With milk and sugar. If you want to get specific, Banapsaty Assam is my favourite. My tea collection however, while mostly black, has various whites, greens, smokey teas, herbals, etc. It's pretty much my default beverage. I have a thread on the topic over in central square.

o.o' I haven't heard of either of those... Is there any comparable flavor you could link them to? XD Or are they like a stand-alone tea, their own thing? XD
I don't normally drink tea. o-o Doesn't taste all that well for me... I just do Soda/water x:

Uh, hard to say, since all teas essentially come from the same plant, just processed differently (not including herbal teas). White tea is the least processed, followed by green, then black. Most default "tea" is some manner of Black tea. I imagine different teas are kind of like different beers, or coffees. More or less the same, but little things make them different.
Assam tea is a type of black tea that is grown in various estates along the Assam river in India. Specific estates gives their names to the tea, such as Banapsaty or Tarajulie, etc. I'd say that Assam tea is "warmer" in flavour when compared to other black teas like Ceylon or Darjeeling, if that makes sense. There are a pile of green teas too, like Matcha, Sencha, Genmaicha, Kombucha, etc. Much tea! Anything carbonated has been iffy for me since my stomach started acting up, so I don't drink pop as much as I used to. If not tea, then juice, or milk, usually.

Some had different things added, or different blends. I imagine even the change in regional soil can change the flavour of the tea plant when it's processed, so tea from China would taste different than the same tea from Britain.
That might be a good way to put it, I suppose it's warm the way cinnamon is warm? As a contrast, I'd say parsley or cilantro is "cold."

Wow o.o' Sounds reallly complicated then. XD I mean. That's like sooo many choices o.0'
Whoo. XD Go vivi. I don't really know those flavors particularly since I just have them as seasonings. XD So I'm guessing you like warmer flavors better then colder ones? :3

Depends on my inclinations at the time. ;)
I just drink a lot of tea. Ask me if I want a light roast or a dark roast in coffee and get a blank stare.

Like most crafty things, I followed my step sister into it, though my mother gave me the basics of hand-sewing. I started with little purses as they were easy, and then little pillows with patch designs. I only just recently started trying to learn actual stitches, and my step sister got me a sewing machine for Christmas which I shall attempt to figure out. For the most part, I take a needle and thread in one hand, some fabric in the other, and attempt to make them stick. It *usually* works out, though isn't always the most attractive looking. I repair clothes and darn socks, mostly by trial and error.

Ahh o-o Well that was nice for her. XD
And wow really? XD you'd think sewing machines would be easier then hand-sewing. Although just learning about one would be a bit of a niche. o-o lmao. XD attempt to make them stick. Well at least you have a fun little hobby-ish sort of thing. XD Only kind of need and thread thing I did was back in middle school in home ec. Made my own pillow o-o'

I think they are but I'm not used the them. The fist time I tried I kept stepping on the pedal too hard and making the machine run too fast. I just stick with hand sewing for the most part, as there's a lot of stuff that can't be done with a machine, like repairing the pocket linings on a shirt of mine. It's slower, but I like working with my hands. It's a change from all the mental stuff I'm normally doing.
I was excused from Home Ec. class because of my health, so I never really learned how to use a machine. I'm sure I can manage, I'm decent enough with instructions. ;)
