Mead is awesome. And it's actually not too difficult to make at home.
I use She/Her and They/Them pronouns.

Mead's nice... takes awhile to go from fresh and undrinkable to tasty honey wine though.

I kinda wonder if I'd actually be able to drink it, because honey doesn't agree with me.

Hi all, I'm popping in for a moment.
Here's two interesting things: The Dark Ages - were not Dark Also, getting mixed origins of the term "Dark Ages" - one being a poet who write about the time since Rome with the belief that since Rome, life sucked. (I, on the other hand, would resent being called Roman) Another would be that the Puritans used the term to describe the time before their "wisdom/enlightenment" - these were the same people who effectively crash-landed in the wrong place (Pilgrims at Plymouth), and played a large role in the Salem Witch Trials. I always heard that the Dark Ages were called that because it was a time of very little literacy.

As sort of noted by the links, that apparently is not the case - in fact, a major development (spaces between words and punctuation) were established at that time, making it easier to read works.

Huh. Well, there was also the theory that it was called the Dark Ages because of the Black Death. (Yes, I know, I should just read. But the migraine is trying to make itself known. Ask Den. I've barely even been RPing).

Three tries before I remember what I'm in the kitchen looking for. I stood in HMV today with a blank look on my face as I slowly and painstakingly backtracked a thought trail to see which movie I wanted to buy.

*flopsnuggles Lawtan* I'm swiftly losing the ability to 'can' today. went to what was supposed to be a group interview only to find out that they'd misplaced my phone number, so I never got a time to come in... and I just feel tired and cruddy.

It's a tired and cruddy convention in Lawtan's library.
What book're you reading right now? The non interactive books I'm reading is 'The Absentee', by Maria Edgeworth. And This one, which I think would be good for the library here. It's a lovely old book, and reading it that way was about as good as reading it in hardcopy. I'm not very active right now, because of stuff.
