Others, my dear, others. The others like little Nex over there who will come back to find all of her little insect hybrids lost in the rug, or fur and feathers of her other projects! This is not good, not good at all... And this bug bite really itches...
Do you like it? I have to be honest, it kind of happened by chance while doing my intro, and it, well, stuck. Obviously. But, you know what they say, about mimicry and flattery and all of that... stuff.

Oh, I see. That's unfortunate for her. Do you two live together?
I actually don't know. I heard that learning was the art of mimicry, but I never heard it relate to flattery.

No, no, just a case of reality mixing in with our lovely little fantasy here. I tend to swing between such things fairly regularly... -laughs nervously- -shakes head-
The old saying that mimicry is the sincerest form of flattery... Most often used by parents who wanted one child to stop complaining that the other, typically younger, was copying their every move and word... It also shows in pairs that are courting, in which the two will mirror one another when they're interested. But, yes. It applies to learning as well.

I've lost track of reality too many times to care for it. Though, reality would be interesting were it this fantasy.... (gets a little lost in the thought)
I see...*grins* Well then I, Funkduder, *bows* do give my sincerest compliments in that way. or at least I think that's how that works... I've changed the layering of my avi so the mist looks more like a scarf than a shroud. *spins* what do you think?

If it isn't, it probably should be. I do have to admit, though, it can be a little... difficult, to keep up this style at times. Sometimes I just wanna explode and go 'What the fuckadilliondiddlecopter am I doing messing with this nonsense!' then go get a drink and watch a movie instead... That would be quite improper, though. -arches brow- I do quite like the scarf, though. I should get one for myself. And, it seems that I have wonderful timing when it comes to picking right when the site has gone down to try and post. Hm. I'll have to get used to this. Let's refresh and see what the newest part of the conversation holds... -shuffleshuffle- -reads- ... -sips tea- ... -stares at Asami- ... ... Brah would be very, ah, Cali and Hawaiian in influence, I do believe. Bruh is something else entirely. Around here, the emphasis is on the center of the word rather than the end, so neither apply. Either way, it's fucking slang, there is no 'right' between them, just various levels of coolness.

Not in the least. Have at it. I've got a bit of a thing for slang, accents, and the like. Don't get me started. I went on a 'groovy' rampage against someone once.
