a Tanzaku are those paper things you put wishes on and tie them to the branches :3

You did pretty good! You only made two minor mistakes.

First, the tense on 書いた -- you said "I will write" but the -ta conjugation is past tense, that is, "I wrote".

Second, "kara" means "from", not "in".

Flowed together into more natural English, you might render it as:

The rustling bamboo leaves are swaying at the eaves.
The stars glitter like gold and silver sand.

I wrote a five-colored wish.
The stars glitter and watch from the sky.

Edit: Wait, where'd you get "bright"? Are you just using that as a way of rendering -sama?
