@Echo- Taiwan's my favorite to play. She was the first cosplay I did almost completely by myself and she's just fun since up till recently she has only appeared in sketches. She's supper official now ouo. It's also fun poke fun at Chinas while playing Taiwan. Led "Asia" around Fanime once. It was fun. I'm just glad that I make a half decent Taiwan despite my not being Asian at all.

I like to wear Hungry's Children's Day Parade costume though it's hard to act as a hardcore yaoi fan since I'm not. And I don't think I look very good in it XD. Still proud of it since I made that one too. Would have been awesome for both you and Nikko to be at that last con since we had a shortage of both Japans and Austrias. Was still super fun though.

@Spirit Angel Girl- It's just a crack show that is 5 min per episode about a very warped and cleaned up (in the way of war violence and what actually happened) of WW2 and other past and sometimes recent world events with personified countries. Not a good source of actual historical knowledge but is a good source for less important knowledge about stuff and yaoi fan fodder. =3
But other than that the show isn't about much.

ash, how does one go to con and not cosplay O.O I would feel NAKED!
The only con I can get away with wearing mundane clothing is the first day of Starfest cause nothing is happening....even then I get twitchy.

There was one time where I wasn't cosplaying at a con and that was on the last day of Wasabi I was spending all of my time at artist alley working on the table selling stuff.

My Sweet Ann Cosplay felt like a flop cause it showed through my undies 0_0 and my contacts were bothering me as well as the stitches kept fading away

I've never been to an anime convention or cosplayed before. All of it is usually too expensive. :c

Sometimes you can go with out paying.

you only have to pay if you want to go to panels, dealers room, or occasionally the artist alley. As I was telling a coworker you have to decide if it's something you really want to do, full immersion, or if it's just something you'd like to see.

we've got four security cameras in the area I work, to prevent theft and stuff...doesn't really stop it, but makes for good times rewinding to see stupid stuff

oh, just special managment tricks. My manager seems to think he knows everything when he's never worked retail a day in his life, and can't recall what half our stuff is called so he rings it up wrong. he's also freaking out cause corporate is coming Monday, so he's having us SUPER STOCK all weekend long...cause you know no one is gonna come in this weekend and get this stuff. Ever.

Though! on cosplay + work related note. We have a store meeting called 'all store' in three weeks and it was announced we were going to have a best costume award for the theme this year. Oh yeah, they's gonna be smoked by me and my department, don't challenge the costumer maker!

We had one here in Colorado back in march. Fey is heading out to Fananime. I should be going to one at the end of July.

You forgot starfest in april! I luffs this state for all it's cons, even if most are obscure. Bitter I missed hitting Anamolycon(steampunk) and Bretherencon(pirates), trying to find a group that wants to hit a 40s WWIIesque dance in Boulder in a few weeks....

I know I missed out on both of them cause I had to work~! >_< Also Fey when Anamolycon comes again we need to hit that one up.

Yeah, I plan to organize a huge group for that, next year LOL this year I found out about it like a day before, and it wasn't worth it to just show up for a couple hours after work.
