No, you can simply exchange your points for cubes, if you don't like any of the available prizes (or just want more cubes). Good question, though!

How feasible today is in vitro gametogenesis?

It's not feasible in humans and larger mammals yet, but there have been successful experiments on mice.

(also hella ethical problems.)
