I'm not comfortable with sci-fi and historical. I also won't do gore for its own sake, like shock value- but if it's required for the story I'll roll with it.

I generally do light fantasy and supernatural with a side of romance, and I play all genders and orientations but I tend to prefer MxM. Fairytales with a twist are my forte but I also have other kinds of premises...
I hope this isn't too broad to be helpful ^^

It's actually very helpful. What kind of supernatural are we talking? Just a mixed bag of everything, or specific kinds?

daikokunyo 08-05-2017 11:47 AM

Supernatural as in pretty much any inoculation of fantasy in an otherwise modern realistic setting, so not very specific I think... so either the parallel/hidden kind or the minor magical realism kind.

Just a few more questions, I promise. What do you consider sci-fi?

daikokunyo 08-05-2017 01:02 PM

Hey, ask all you want ^^
Stuff with crazy technology and fancy lingo.

Lee 08-05-2017 01:25 PM

Does it count if the crazy technology actually exists? Would you consider things that happen as a result of such, like weird medicines or potions, sci-fi, as well?

daikokunyo 08-06-2017 01:46 AM

If it's not too technical/esoteric, I can roll with it :s-smile:

Lee 08-06-2017 09:07 AM

Do you consider alternate technological paths sci-fi? Such as steam punk, for example.

daikokunyo 08-06-2017 10:03 AM

Unfortunately, yes :/ it's not that I don't find these interesting, but because I know so little about them, I would require handholding which would just suck the fun out of RP.

Lee 08-06-2017 04:46 PM

It's no worries! This is why I doublecheck. Okay, that about covers it. Just one last one: do you prefer more modern or more medieval? Or even older? Somewhere in between?

daikokunyo 08-06-2017 10:30 PM

Modern, definitely :f-kittysmile:
Somewhere in the middle is fun too as long as historical accuracy isn't required.
I'm sorry for ruling out so much...

Lee 08-07-2017 07:42 AM

Don't apologize! My field is wide, so I would prefer to defer to my partner's tastes. If I know what you don't like, I can make sure I don't accidentally corner you into it. That brings up the point that if you run into something you just don't like while we're playing, please tell me. We can always rewrite it via a 'wait no this is what really happened'.

daikokunyo 08-07-2017 08:39 AM

Aw thank you :s-smile: and thank you so much for telling me to tell you if I don't like something, omg :f-squee: yeah, and editing is a blessing haha.

Lee 08-08-2017 01:31 PM

You're quite welcome, friend. So, how do we do this? Where, rather?

daikokunyo 08-08-2017 10:02 PM

I'd be happy to do it on a thread on Trisphee, unless you'd prefer somewhere else?

Lee 08-08-2017 11:41 PM

No no, I meant where on Trisphee. XD I'm a bit new to this here.
