Name: Ankhali "Wisp" Wisperioux
Race: Human
Abilities: Sorcery, with a penchant for the dramatics (Purple hellfire raining down anyone?) Minimal training with weapons. Unsettling amount of knowledge about demons.

Bio:

"Well, it's not -my- fault you lost your hand. Only an idiot sticks their hand in a monster's mouth without checking if it's dead first. And you're even stupider for listening to me joke and say it was fine....Alright. Stop crying. I'll get you to a healer."

With a reputation for being curmudgeon, as well as a bit of a venomous bitch, Wisp has a rather unsavory attitude when it comes to the various guilds of mercenary and adventuring guilds. A pain in the ass to work with, and even more of a grouch when it comes to doing just about anything sociable. The few people she ends up clinging to usually end up getting pushed away or leave her the moment she can. Especially when Wisp has the urge to practice any sort of spells on her "Test subjects."

A criminal record also soils her past, though the specifics are kept under wraps by authorities, though the penance for whatever crime she had committed has been rather humorous: Forced to take on newbie adventurers in order to ease them into the life. So far her success rate has been almost slim to none - A few of the failures meeting rather scrupulous demises. (Goblin shanked him. I swear.)

For all the negative though, Wisp just doesn't seem to give one mind over the people near her spreading rumors. In her eyes, half of them are just jealous of her power or her looks. And there's been a sliver of people among the rest who mention that the woman does have a bit of a soft side. It just takes several lifetimes in order to crack...

Christoval Endrigo

Name: Christoval "Chris" Endrigo
Race: Human
Abilities: No special powers. Chris however does have a rather big knack for being able to improvise on the fly, and is able to use a wide variety of weapons. Both black-powder and traditional.

The son of peasantry, Christoval had dreams of being more. Visions of knighthood and glory burned in his veins, and the moment he could save up and purchase his own sword, the boy headed off towards the first guild he could enlist in, and signed up with eagerness in his eyes. His first adventure however? Went to hell. A simple bit of cleaning out the dregs in a city's sewers turned sour when inexperience and overconfidence led to the deaths of nearly everyone - An experience that left marks on Chris' psyche.

This is currently his second attempt of being an adventurer, and decided to try and find someone with a bit more experience to learn the ropes with, only to be rejected by nearly the entirety of the veterans in favor of other fresh meat- the boy nearly at a loss before he was assigned to one with no choice but to accept.

Eager to try and make a friend out of the veteran, Chris has promised himself to be a shining example, and has done much to try and earn the respect of his mentor. (Though it seems more like he's being used as a personal slave rather than being trained. Try and argue that with him though.)

Kazer'Zon

Race: Anvonth
Abilities: Primal Magic; His species has a natural-seeming abilty for intense regeneration as well.

Revenge is a dish best served cold, and among the Anvonth, the old saying rings true more than anything else. A violent, savage species that was shunned by most of the world; their empire was demolished by a combined alliance of Elves, Dwarves, and Humans. With their culture shattered and obliterated, the species went into a forced exile; boats loaded with children, the remains of their own culture, and the few warriors still left alive...

Not all of them however decided to take the route and went into hiding - Chosing to stay in their homelands and live their remaining days as enemies of nearly every living being on the planet. And one legend told in hushed tone is the tale of Kazer'zon, the only Anvonth to still be around despite nearly every nation placing substantial bounties on his head. His stories include raising armies of demons and dealing with powers far more immense than anything any other summoner has managed to treat with - Along with the being singlehandedly murdering scores of heroes and adventurers that were doomed to cross his path.

Even more insidious stories are the ones on how he deals with prisoners. The ones who supposed have escaped his clutches tell tales of heinous and debauched acts towards men and women of any species; with each story going more gruesome in detail and specifics towards what he was done to them. From using children as shields in combat, to forcing fallen combatants into service as military concubines for whatever crazed and vile beasts that choose to follow him, his name itself has slowly become warped and twisted into a vile word among the northerners: Kazer'aron meaning 'Tragedy' among the barbaric tribes.

Quill Alizarin

Name: Quillion Alizarin II
Race: Human
Abilities: Healing Magic; Herbal knowledge and a bit of unarmed combat. Also a rather unnerving amount of knowledge about various brothels in the midlands.

Spoiled and tired, Quill's story is one that is more or less based entirely on a lack of luck. Born to a family of merchants, Quill's dream of running the family business of caravans was ripped from him by his younger sister, who showed more applicable skill and wit when it came to the skills of negotiation and trade. His attempts to get into a cozy job of being some form of assistant was robbed from him by the youngest in his clan, who won over the nobles Quill was trying to slither into due to the youngest's apparent cuteness and pleasant demeanor.

With each of his chances into a lazy lifestyle being sucked away from him, Quill decided on taking a gamble and using a large portion of his inheritence as a donation in order to join the college of healing, a respectable job that Quill believed would be simple enough. After all, the healers he knew had a habit of just lazing about in the temples, and just throwing a hand on someone and muttering some nonsense until they felt better. What Quill didn't expect was the actual amount of knowledge and effort that came with studying as a healer. Initial training went surprisingly well, and with what he believed to be an easy pass into a cozy occupation, Quill laxed on his studies; spending more time filling his stomach with ale and his bed with cheap prostitutes in lieu of his studies.

Hubris would come at a terrible price, when an attempt at a simple spell for curing fever went horribly wrong. The ward he was studying had to be quarantined, and several people seeking relief ended up being victims of a botched spell that left them in death's clutches; Quill reprimanded harshly and severely and nearly expelled from the Healing College, were it not for copious amounts of bribes and blackmail, along with threats from Quill's family towards one of the headmasters. While able to keep his position as a student, Quill's training took a less comfortable approach, and the boy was put into the position of being "field-trained"

Permanently.

Quill's mentors have had the habit of dying in atrocious ways, all due to botches from Quill trying to practice healing magic, or trying to work in the thick of battle. Left with no other option, the Healing Guild has more or less just thrown the young man to the wolves, and use him as a low-ranked healer for the Adventurer's Halls in the Midlands. So far Quill has yet to accomplish one mission.

Tritonia

Name: Tritonia Corominas
Race: Human
Abilities: Bardic Magic; Tritonia's music relies more on negative emotions. Rage to fill her friends; despair and terror for her enemies. Her weapon is also a magically crafted short-mace made to amplify her voice.

A rather insidious and nasty woman, Tritonia has a made a name for herself for taking the most horrenous and vile jobs the guild has to offer. Everything from kidnappings, extortions, and even contracts offered out on other people in the guild itself; there has been nothing that has swayed Tritonia from the premise of money. Countless stories in the halls in the midlands have various horror stories of Tritonia, from her bringing in harems of children chained to her armor for protection, to enslaving peasants and contractors who weren't able to pay her exorbitant fees for her service.

Those who have had the gall and strength of will to travel with her note Tritonia's fussy and ferocious temper, as well as a reputation for not being afraid in the slightest to murder her own partners and traveling companions for even the slightest glint of extra material wealth. The rumors and various stories about her have lead to the Guild itself banning her from taking on any sort of apprentice or pupil (At least guild-wise) and some of the braver guilds have simply resorted to refusing her everything but the most basic of services.

All this of course, has lead to no change in Tritonia in the slightest. If anything, the woman's amassed wealth from her jobs and other sources have netted her with a huge next egg, which has in turn landed Tritonia with a "Following" of sorts. A variety of mercenaries, cutpurses and others hoping to win her affection and her wealth; and on top of the bard's charisma? It has turned more or less into a filthy cult of personality for Tritonia - only feeding her ego and despicable practices further.
