A: if the lighting is poor you aren't gonna see much anyway. https://www.instagram.com/p/BunQRjml5nk for if you have one that's bright enough to see by, tho as I found out, a fire burning bright enough to read by is kicking a lot of heat

B: this one depends. If once you're reading, nothing will distract you, you're fine. If you're easily distracted, you're gonna have trouble

C: there's always the chance you'll drop the book, unless you have that detachable shelf thingie I've seen around that the book is sitting on

D: well, it's socially rude, but otherwise is much like the football game, just more music and less crowd noise. Weddings are boring tho, especially if you are in it. I was a bridesmaid at my sister's, it was boring to be standing up there the whole time

-u- The worst way for me is in the bath. I've tried. <U<; I just wanted a relaxing bath 100% more than reading anything. I have a feeling that the movies and tv shows depicting people reading in the tub are total bogus, because the tub is warm yet slippery and hard, so it's not as comfy as a couch or bean bag chair,
or Kitty's nook. -w- Which is perfect for reading! ^-^

Funny thing is, I have a habit of bringing my phone into the tub, and reading CYOAs for an hour or until I realize the water's freezing. (I also have a habit of falling asleep in the tub because being in the water feels like being home, but that's another story.)

Fuck wedding receptions and football games.

But reading in the dark with v little light sources is one reason I'm really, really nearsighted.

i have mild visual snow, so i can't really read in the dark.

also, i've heard it contributes to eyestrain.
