Bees make more honey than they could ever use. It's not stolen.
I use She/Her and They/Them pronouns.

I mean, it is still stolen even if they could never use it, they DO get quite upset about it, but yeah they don't really need it.
All bee keepers are dirty thieves, but also careful caretakers. Answer my riddle to earn a prize!
You'll always feel it, but can never see it. It's strong but shatters easily. You can give it away but never hold it. What is it? Pm me the answer, no cheating please! | ||||

i dunno, there are a lot of issues with bees starving and dying because too much honey is taken and they are forced to subside on this sugar-water crap. frankly though a bee's entire life's work is just enough honey to mix into a single cup of tea so it feels really nasty to do

Bees eat pollen and nectar. That's why it's important to plant flowers and blooming plants to attract them, and to not use pesticides on the parts that the bees get their food from.
I would like to also point out that if you're trying to make people feel bad for enjoying honey, Cho, please don't. People are allowed to make their own choices as to their diet, and it is not your place to tell them what they should or shouldn't be eating. I use She/Her and They/Them pronouns.

Only really bad beekeepers take so much honey that the bees die. Not to mention if you kill off your hive by over harvesting, you're losing out on harvesting the next year... so that's just stupid. All of the beekeepers I have talked to (and it's actually a lot cuz I'm in some weird facebook groups) would rather not harvest at all that year than risk losing their hives over the winter.
Now a large corporate operation, yeah that seems more likely that they would do that... but that's why you should buy locally harvested honey from small apiaries if your financial situation allows it. Answer my riddle to earn a prize!
