Oh wow, you do fantastic work! Do you ever do commissions? I don't have anything in mind or to offer right now per say but just curious for in the future.

I actually have never done commissions before, because I have... let's call them commitment issues. But I might look at opening up commishes eventually.

Thanks! Probably shouldn’t have started in on a basic white canvas but rather a textured one, for even more of a painting feel, but oh well.

I think what texture you do have is most noticeable in the hair, looks like brush strokes, and then in the clothing in spots. Over all though I feel the look is still more of a painted feeling/look than just straight up smooth digital.

Yes, used acrylic/oil textured brushes for that. I still work better w dry media, though, so I added some darker shadows with charcoal.

I've always liked the look of charcoal and pastels as well. My drawing skill are not the greatest but I also always like the feel of working with pastels.

Yeah, I don’t get many chances to use charcoal and pastels on actual paper, and there still is a huge difference with doing it digitally, but, seems like it works well w my style.
