As far as writing goes? I mostly write paranormal/urban fantasy/sci fi stuff. Its the same genre I read, as well. So if you're into that, I have TONS of book series you may like. <3 I'm a complete book worm.

I used to work at Borders, and... it really made no sense. My paycheck just went back to them in the end. Haha.

TT^TT yes! It is wonderful. I like the way he handles vampires he makes them bearable to the point of cool/ likable unlike other series I've read like Anita Blake and Twilight. They are just nympho glorious sex gods. They are actually cool. His female characters are badass also, even the ones you think are a bit annoying have moments which make them worth while.

I never, EVER liked Twilight. I didn't like the Anita Blake books, either. The idea? Yes. A woman who can raise the dead, and slays vampires? Cool. But the way she .. I don't know.. portrayed it? Not so cool.

I'm really into Kim Harrison. The Hollows Series is AMAZING.

XD oddly thats the one I haven't picked up after Blake I became weary of disembodied female on the covers of novels and decided to stay away.

Its not as bad as Laurell's books. xD; I promise. And actually.. not all of her books are that atrocious. She has a fae series that isn't half bad.

I think the only thing that would bug you about Kim's books, is the main vampire character, Ivy. She's your typical brooding not so dead-undead type.
