The Sims Medieval | #1 | ||
This game would be so addictive... if all of the freakin' bugs and glitches in it didn't keep me from playing.
I loved the idea of meshing the aspects of creating your own characters and using them to complete quests. I also like that they finally recognized the player controlling the sims as a kind of god. I'm downloading the v.1.3.13 patch right now, and hopefully it will let me actually progress in the game - last time I tried, I couldn't place either the cathedral or monastery without my computer blue screening on me. Not that I particularly want religion in my kingdom, but I do want all of the buildings there. I'm also hoping to see more customization with hair and clothes for the simmies too. Has anyone else played? What do you think of it?

I haven't bought it because I read that the children never grow up ... And I'm pretty much fine with just Sims 3. ... Though the way you're describing it sounds much different than what I've read. Sounds a bit more interesting.
... But like I said I kinda got 'turned off' when I read that children never age ^^; Unless having a family is less important in this game? As fabulous and pretty as they are, Ulti's avatars are always male~ Please use "he"/"him" or "they"/"them" pronouns when referring to me please <3 User since 9-22-10 I love it when people use my Sinopa emotes~ <3 ~

It's a lot, lot easier for sims to get pregnant. There's no "try for baby" option when woo-hooing, and it's pretty much a 50/50 chance that, if you have straight sex, the girl is gonna have a baby. I believe that in the newest update (1.3.13) if one of your heroes dies, you can choose one of their children as an heir to grow up and take their place, which is a really neat feature for the monarch especially. I haven't tried it out myself yet though, as I hear that most of the major glitches still haven't been fixed by the patch.

Hmm, anything with medieval instantly starts to sound interesting, even though I've not liked any Sim games this far, form what I have seen.

Well, the nice thing for non-sims fans (and thus the bad thing for hardcore sims fans) is that it actually has rhyme and reason to it, and it's not just playing god just for the sake of doing so.

Damn, looks like I'm the only one here who's played. xD;;
I'm on hiatus until they fix all the freakin' bugs though. Otherwise I'd be absent from Trisphee and... life.
