A Christmas tale

I waited all year
To be with my dear
On the night of christmas

Now it's close to midnight
My chest feels tight
It's almost christmas
but I'm making a grimace

I was near the tree
But he was far from me
On the night of christmas
He was with a mistress

I started to sob
while he begged me to stop
He said it was christmas
I had to show forgiveness

The bells were jingling
and I was giggling
Ok, it is christmas
but that was off-limits

Actually, congrats to everyone who participated. I had fun too listening to the carols (Potironette had a cute voice and I think I already mentioned Pollik's sense of rhythm), reading even more carols (Gizmo's and Tam's made me chuckle even though I can only guess what redneck means, Potironette captured the sensual experiences of the season so nicely, and mdom's reminds me of a pop ballad) and looking at the picture (snow!)
