Idk it kind of falls under the square/rectangle ruling there. Writing is reading, but reading isn't writing.
It can count if you want it to, but idk if I'd, personally, count it.
XD

even smart phones have their dumb days.

i'll count it as reading, because i have to read it to remember wtf i wrote yesterday XD

but it doesn't have a title yet. as most of my writings start out. very few of them start out titled.

Lol. That's okay. The title will come to you when it's time.

Hmmm....gonna probably be a really slow day at the museum today because we've been closed all week practically and we have a blizzard warning in effect (with an expected 14-24 inches of snow between tonight and Monday) so most people are gonna be more interested in stocking up on food and stay-at-home project supplies than checking out art.
Now should I spend the next 4.5 hours reading or working on a cat plushie? Or both because I forgot to bring my new skein of white yarn so I can only make a few of the cat parts...?
XD

Edit: I jinxed myself. Just had 3 people walk in. XP

oh FUN!
i learned back at the beginning of the year (i think it was) that crafting supplies are the new "milk, bread, and eggs" when a storm is predicted! XD

i get titles in a few ways:
1 - it just happens. *bam* title.
2 - i write a perfect phrase or word combo *bam* title.
3 - i stare at it for months. then i get sort of an idea. yeah, sure, why not?

i'm also using one of my tropes that I've done before - the character is looking for something to do. a-ha! let's learn to crochet! XD

Am prepping my reading list for next year by selecting random prompts from other reading challenges that pop up and one is "Read a book someone else chooses for you."
Want to pick me a book to read next year?

Am picking 9 challenge prompts, which may lead to the purchase of new books, though I actually do have at least 2-3 for sure at home already.
And then will add an additional 3-5 books from my bookshelf that I either am already in the middle or just have been meaning to read.

Doesn't matter what I've read.
Re-reads are just as valid as anything.

I'd ask someone else but idk any of my other friends who read very much.
Though if anyone else pops in and wants to suggest a book, that'd be cool too.

hmm...

see, i'd suggest "Dune" because i really like the series, but the author has a unique writing style that sometimes you read a paragraph and go "wtf did i just read?" and then you have to unpack everything you just read...

or i could suggest the first Vampire Diaries book, but it's not just the first book, it's a series of three (four, if you want to include her "publisher suggested" ending) books, and they're like potato chips, because the first/original series is the shortest of all four of 'em.

or i could suggest something from Sherrilyn Kenyon, either Dark Hunters or the League series, because they're fun stories... but if you read too many of them the underlying plot is the same as most of the others in the series.

or you could scroll through all the books i've read on goodreads and pick one? XD

Pshhhh...if I pick the book, then it's not suggested by someone else!
XD

You said Dune first, so Dune it is! Tbh, I may actually have that book. I don't remember if I bought it with the intent of reading or if I just put it in my mental bookshelf to eventually read.

Yay!

I've read a tiny bit at work today, but haven't had much else to do.
Also started coming up with d&d character ideas for the Dungeons & Derpy rp that was started to set up a while ago but kind of fizzled out before it got started.
Because dead Trisphee is dead.
