He's confused. A villain, but confused.

The Victim who was once the hero, but after accidentally destroying a good friend, leaves herself to the villain to be captured, and thus becomes the rather tragic victim

A neutral being, who can be perceived both as good and bad, as he only observes although he has the pwoer to change things. If he does, he does it for his own purposes, so sometimes helping one or other side.

The villainess who, tragically, is only doing what she is out of vengeance. At the end of the play, one would discover that all this time, the hero was actually the murderer of the villain's family. The hero was actually a WAR hero, who had burned a village t othe ground with his soldiers, and personally stood over the young villainous as she wept for her parents, before leaving her to die.
