> tfw the fucking entire screen glitch doesn't happen with warframe
then again, i was playing it in short bursts. i think it might either be an issue with the graphics card drivers or Don't Starve Together. i'll see if i can't get a picture at some point. percival is busy being queer as hell. he was also here.

You're in good company, Francisco.
All these climbing gyms opening up are calling to me, but I'm fairly certain I have tarsal tunnel syndrome and not just tendonitis, so the idea of landing on my feet from high up seems way too risky.

the good: i did Actual Adult Shit today
the bad: i could sleep for a year the funny: the two companies that i made the best impression with were more interested in my extracurriculars than my actual academics STONEWALL WAS A RIOT

This is normal. Academics only tell you so much about a person. Extracurricular activities show how you operate when you're NOT being told what to do at every turn.

But then why do they care so much about GPA?

Really, your goal is to stand out from the other candidates. Every candidate has a GPA.
That usually means they don't actually care THAT much. They mostly care that it's good enough to show that you took your studies seriously enough to succeed. It's a sign of diligence. You don't want to be seen as sloppy or lazy or uneducated; that's the kind of bad mark that doesn't say good things about you. But the difference between a 3.2 and a 3.7 really isn't very significant in terms of the impact it has on recruiters. Games by Coda (updated 4/15/2024 - New game: Call of Aether)

Okay sure, but a 2.5 isn't pretty.

Well, that actually supports what happened: An unimpressive GPA is a good reason for recruiters to pay more attention to the non-GPA things. The ones who are going to be impressed are the ones who care about more than just grades.
The recruiters that look at more than grades are also better recruiters. The details of one's academic history stop mattering once you have even one year of relevant on-the-job experience. So good recruiters for companies that care about retaining good talent instead of filling seats will look for reasons that you stand out beyond just a number. -scratches head- Oh, right, you’ve been listening to me cry about my academic woes over the past seven years.
It’s just. I hate having to actually *explain* that. Especially to people I don’t know. STONEWALL WAS A RIOT

okay, well, the whole graphical glitch thing on the entire screen hasn't happened with warframe, but given that i tend to play warframe in short bursts...
i'll see if equipping a vignette helps the issue or exacerbates it. percival is busy being queer as hell. he was also here.

Killer shark movie 3.
Headless baby ghosts. Doomed bunker. Spider king. Being rolled up in a rug. Big warm story dude. Torches six stories below. Hiding under a pink plastic bathtub. Big goopy toothed monster. Commercial free movie theatre. Clown teens. These are things that showed up in my dream last night. x}
