It was just about time for his big news, the moon having hit its apex long ago, and Sebastian had just downed his umpteenth cup of coffee. Boy, was he fired up! He was super excited for the upcoming release of a new anka egg to his shop, the amethyst one to be exact.

After hours of being impatient and bored of the wait, he finally headed outside, to an eager crowd, carrying a large crate laden with his newest product: The Amethyst Anka Egg! Once he set down his crate, he lifted his head to face the mass of people that had assembled themselves before his store as he greeted them. “Good morning, everyone!! I hope you’re all as fired up as me, because I’ve got some new goodies for you all. Today marks the day for the release of my newest special, the Amethyst Anka Egg!”

Smiling broadly, his face shown with a vibrant energy, he continued, “This most amazing item also doubles as an exciting game of chance! All you have to do is purchase an egg, open it up and see what you get! Now, doesn't that sound like a lot of FUN?!” He lifted a single amethyst egg high above his head for everyone to see. “From what I know, the five possible items in here range from being cute, leafy, elegant, intricate, or adorable. So buy an egg today and see what you get! Good luck collecting them all, everyone!!”

Only once that evening had Sasan checked on Sebastian. From the ever chipper boy's chattering, he'd caught enough to know that the egg's release was going according to plan. That, of course, only left his own.

Sasan's legs were weary, fresh dirt and gravel littering the floor between the counter and rear of the store. He hoped for a miracle as he paced. Really, he had only wanted to make a few changes, but if he'd known he'd be cutting it so close...

The thud of a door closing made his tail flick, and seconds later, he was outside. Sasan had been expecting the usual truck, there to save the day, and his reputation, with its load. Instead, he was met by a young woman, bundled in more clothes than even this weather called for.



"Oh, c'mon now, everyone can't be sick. How many of you does it take t'get a few hides anyway? Don't you realize how important this is?"

"Look, I'm real sorry about all this, but it's not like we can head out back and set a trap or two. There isn't anything we can do. You're just going to have to wait."

Sasan didn't have the chance to reply before the woman returned to her vehicle. He huffed and ran a hand back through his hair. "What a mess," the Ascent muttered. "Next time, I'll just have t'do black market deals for my supplies..."

[Fenris]

There may or may not be some delays with the yearlies which are supposed to be released on the 20th. I'd like to take sole responsibility for this because its my illness at the moment that has slowed work majorly. I have been suffering from pneumonia for some time now and have recently gotten the flu. I am really sorry if any delays occur guys! Trying to work as much as I can.
