So this past week was Comicon 2012, in San Diego.
And during the Marvel panel they announced some movies that will be coming out in the next 2 years, one of them was Guardians of the Galaxy. The others were; Captain America: Winter Soldier, Thor: The Dark World, and some test footage of a possible Ant-man movie was shown.

If you're not familiar with who the guardians of the galaxy are they're pretty much the Space-Avengers. Though not all the members of the team will be in the movie. The concept art shows the team members that will be in the movie. It's an interesting line up really, we have Star Lord who is the one with the mask wielding the two guns he's the leader of the team, then there's Rocket Raccoon who is....the Raccoon he'll most likely be one of the comic relief characters in the film along with Groot (the giant tree/ent in the background. Then there's Drax (the one with the daggers), and Gamora (who is the one with the sword & cloak) which is interesting. The reason why it's interesting is because;

They both have ties to Thanos who was the purple guy in the post-credit scene in The Avengers. So he could be the villain for this film.

But yeah, anyone excited to this and the other Marvel films? 8D
