what kind of place do you live in? | #1
so what does your place of living look like? I know there are many types, people live at college, boarding houses, share houses, things like that.
I live with my other half and we live in a 90 year old two bedroom miners cottage. So its smaller than an average cottage lol. But its cute and on its own block of land and its good for us and what we need. So discuss what is your place that you live in like?

Two story house with a full basement. It's got a murder room though, it's creepy. But we did discover we had hardwood floors underneath all the carpeting, so we've been slowly removing all the ugly old carpet and redoing the hard woods.
The house itself is like 120 years old, it's in amazing condition though and there's a newer extension that was modeled to be a kitchen and to give the master bedroom more space. It's rather lovely really, it's got alot of the old moldings and base boards. The garage has two doors, one for the back lane and another to open into the back yard so you can do projects in there.

Sounds like you all have nice places.
We live in a 4 story townhouse, well 3 stories and a loft which is a full set of stairs over the master bedroom. There are 4 bedrooms here and 4 bathrooms too though the one on the main floor is a half bath. The basement has one bedroom, a full bath, the laundry room and the "great room" which we call the library, it has a fireplace and double doors leading outside. Pretty room. The main floor is where we tend to hang out, it has the living room, my work area and the kitchen and attached dining room. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms and a full bath and then the master which has the loft and cathedral ceilings with skylights and also an en suite full bath. I used to have a sig. Really.

OwO All of your places sound incredible. My hubby and I are currently renting a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house with a basement. It was built sometime in the 50's or 60's.

My house is a typical 1950's one.
Though we have updated it. It's not outdated or anything. But the design and layout scream 1950's... It has two bathrooms and three bedrooms. Upstairs, main level, and a basement. Detached two car garage. We have almost an acre of land inside of city limits. That's pretty much it.

I'm not really sure how old my house is, all I know is it's older than the old academy school because the street is named after it ha. It's a two bedroom rented house though. One bathroom, no garage (but a driveway) and one garden.
Yeah I live in a crapshack in comparison to you guys...
