Rebooting....

I think a lot of people didn't like Colin Baker as the Doctor. I wonder how much of it was the writers and how much of it was him.

hmm, good point, Zen. could have been some of both.
i've also heard it said that the season-long multi-part story Trial of a Time Lord was like a meta for the show, that it was really the show on trial, not the Doctor.

Rerooting doll heads is a fucking pain in the ass.
I use She/Her and They/Them pronouns.

The process of putting hair onto a doll seems like it would take approximately forever, fancy tools or not.

You'll always feel it, but can never see it. It's strong but shatters easily. You can give it away but never hold it. What is it? Pm me the answer, no cheating please! | ||||

A lot?
I've been practicing with an old Whitney doll someone gave a haircut, but so far I haven't even been able to get all original hair out. (A crochet needle probably isn't the best tool for the job either, but I didn't want to invest in fancy stuff before I can tell whether or not I will do this more than once.) Death's

i use a pair of old tweezers. but it prolly helps if you soak the head in some boiling water for a few minutes to loosen the glue that is inside holding the old hair in.

I use needle-nose pliers or tweezers to yank the stubs and glue out.
And as for how many holes, it depends on the quality of doll. Higher-quality ones tend to have more hair and more holes in the head. Dollar store ones tend to have less hair, because of having fewer holes. On average, if I reroot, it takes me close to 10 hours for a Monster High, Ever After High, Barbie, or similar sized doll. if I make a wig, it can take a bit longer, because of all the prep work I have to do before I can actually make the wig. I use She/Her and They/Them pronouns.
