Didn't have time to paint my nails before work today so they're probably gonna go a shattery at work today. XP

Yeah, "Hard as Nails" is a pretty popular brand that's specifically formulated for that.

Well, having extra thickness from polish can help with it, but it's not foolproof. I still break and chip my nails even when they're polished, but I find myself being more careful when they "look pretty".
There are also nail hardeners/thickeners you can use, but those can also make the nails brittle. My nails currently are like a good pie crust, thin, crisp(brittle), and flaky. I've started taking multivitamins again, which, though not an ideal solution, will help with some of the deficiencies from my poor diet that add to the condition of my nails. I also have been trying to remember to use oil to keep them moisturized so they're more likely to bend, not break. And polish also has the benefit of helping create a barrier against water, which can also be bad for nails. But it's not a perfect seal so keeping hands out of water as much as possible is recommended, though not always avoidable. I should start taking an oil pen with me to apply throughout the day as well probably.

Yeah, that's another common reason.
I primarily paint mine just...because it makes me happy. The slowing of breakage is just a happy coincidence and with my paper-thin nails, doesn't usually work unless I have 5+ coats of polish. And even that's a crap shoot.

Is it true that "chicks dig battle scars"? Because I've got a two-inch scratch on my cheek from getting hit in the face with a sword.
(I mean, it was a foam sword and the scratch is from my glasses because the hit knocked them off...) And this is, of course, the most important reason. Games by Coda (updated 4/15/2024 - New game: Call of Aether)

Being artsy, I would assume. It's not really art unless it's offensive, right?

That reminds me that I need to find a way to downsize my MLP collection cause let's face it, I'm not really into them as I used to be way back when. ;u; Am mainly wanting to get rid of my generation 3 ponies.

i mean, the only reasonably offensive thing about my little pony is the fuckin. Buffalo episode. it's a shitty americanized allegory for colonization.
(and a character with a bad lazy eye / potentially strabismus being called Derpy, but that's been changed.) percival is busy being queer as hell. he was also here.
